The foundations of what would become Electrostar were laid in 1939, when Engineer Ahmed El Menoufi established a factory producing gas cylinders, driven by a broader vision that extended into the household appliances sector.

In 1986, Electrostar Group was formally established by Ahmed El Menoufi’s sons, beginning with a modest refrigerator manufacturing facility producing two models under license from Zanussi. This step marked Electrostar’s true entry into large-scale home appliance manufacturing.

Growth and Specialization

Over the decades, Electrostar steadily expanded its manufacturing capabilities and investments, evolving into a specialized manufacturer with a strong focus on refrigeration.

Today, Electrostar manufactures refrigerators and freezers. Our products are developed to deliver reliability, efficiency, and long-term value, and are supported by a growing after-sales and service network across Egypt. Selected products are also exported to regional markets, reinforcing confidence in Egyptian manufacturing.
